There have been a couple of interesting points to note, this week. Articles in the press indicate that Palmers will have their proposals ready for public view in 4-6 weeks. This is despite promising a period of consultation before submitting proposals.
Also, local celebrity chef, Mark Hix, has announced his interest, subject to certain conditions, in buying the Three Cups.
Also in the news, this week, the government have recently released a new version of PPS5, a document dealing with Planning Policy for the Historic Environment (click here). Pages 6 to 9, in particular, echo what we have been saying, regarding redevelopment of such a historic building. Take a look for yourselves!
